
Regina Capital Development Corporation (RCDC) started its operations on December 10, 1989. Its performance has been based primarily on the reputation, expertise and experience of the people behind the company. It is because of them that the organization can boast of a credible track record of more than nine years of operation.
In May 1996, RCDC expanded its network to Iloilo while retaining its philosophy of being a private broker. RCDC entered into a partnership with a local group who shares in RCDC's vision of being the leading private broker in the Philippines.
In May 1997, RCDC implemented the use of a local area network in order to service the needs of its backroom operations. The organization has made use of the StockSS: The Stockbrokerage's System Software which has been developed by Software Farm International, Inc.
In October 1998 or after more than two years of experience in entering into partnerships with local groups, RCDC expanded its network to Greenhills, San Juan to tap the high net worth individuals residing in the area. RCDC entered into a partnership with a local group who has extensive contact in the area.
In May 1999, RCDC continued its expansion despite the adverse Philippine capital market conditions by entering into another partnership with a Legaspi Village, Makati business group who also shared the vision of RCDC and who would be accessing a distinct market segment of high net worth individuals for RCDC.
In July 1999, RCDC commissioned an organizational study of the company as part of its commitment to operate with a "lean and mean" staff.
In August 1999, RCDC in anticipation of the Y2K computer problem as well as in line with improving its existing information and work processing system undertook an upgrading of both its computer hardware and software.
In October 1999, RCDC engaged the services of of an accounting consultant to review the validity and the dependability of its financial and auditing systems.
In December 1999, RCDC celebrated its tenth anniversary with an expanded trading group and plans for extending its reserarch efforts from technical to fundamental analysis. Such research will be disseminated through the Regina Newsletter and through the Regina Website.
In February 2000, the expansion into fundamental reserarch and the targetting of high net worth individuals who are less conversant with the Philippine Stock Market was implemented with the recruitment of Mr. Gomer Tan as Vice President for Marketing. His first marketing project was the launching of the Regina Newsletter.
In June 2000, RCDC continued its branch expansion despite adverse political and economic conditions by opening a branch in Cagayan de Oro.
In September 2000, RCDC started sending its Regina Newsletter to its selected clients through the Internet. In addition to the regular Regina Newsletter, a special report on Petron was also circulated.
In March 2002, RCDC officially launched its Website (www.reginacapital.com). In 2008 the website was further redesigned to be more responsive to the growing clientele of RCDC. Our Chairman Dr. Victor S. Limlingan gives his monthly insight on various topics and how they affect the stock market in general.
In May 2005 RCDC opened the branch in Baguio. The first branch to service the northern Philippine area. This brought the number of branches of RCDC to five.
